Situated just a 3-4 minute walk away from Red Warehouse, Akakura Wakui Hotel offers Japanese or western style accommodation. Ensuite rooms are available. The hotel is run by the friendly Wakui-san, his wife and their gracious, friendly staff.

Takeda Hotel is right across the road from Red Warehouse. Run by the friendly Takeda-san, his wife and parents the hotel offers bright Japanese-style rooms with shared bathroom/onsen.

Hotel Senke enjoys a superb location, located right on the main street of Akakura Onsen. It is run by Inagawa-san, a well known local snowboarder, and his family. Senke is a no-frills Japanese style accommodation offered at a good rate. The hotel and surrounds is home to three great restaurants including Mr. Burger and Chiya.

Akakura Refre Hotel (a.k.a. Rifle Hotel Myoko) is well located accommodation only a stones throw from Red Warehouse. Refre welcomed new owners in 2017. Breakfast is included and dinner may be reserved. The outside onsen is one of the best in the village. Bookings for the season are can be made through Booking.com or Rakuten.

Kogakuro Hotel (400m)

Kogakuro Hotel (a.k.a. Kougakuro or Kogakuro Ryokan) has friendly English speaking staff who understand the needs of international visitors and their Akakura accommodation. It is well located in Akakura Village near the base of the Akakura Onsen ski and snowboard resort in Myoko Kogen. Kougakuro is a Japanese-style ryokan with a 115-year history that offers traditional hot springs.

Alp Hotel Myoko is a popular local inn run by the friendly Tsugui-san and his wife. Located above the lifts of Akakura Onsen you will need to book your rooms here early.
