We usually begin the hiring process around June/July each year.
We are always keen to hear from potential staff to work at one of Myoko’s most popular accommodation choices – as rated by our guests on Tripadvisor.
We normally hire 1 or 2 general/housekeeping staff + (possibly) a management staff/couple.
Life at Red Warehouse Myoko in winter can be hectic but ultimately rewarding.You will get to meet a range of great people and enjoy a variety of different experiences that will look good on your CV.
The positions require a largely 6-7 days per week commitment during the season and will suit adventurous types who want to live, work & play in the snow for 3 months. Don’t worry though – there will still be time for that great Myoko pow!
Staff must be flexible, outgoing and be prepared to undertake a wide range of duties. The successful applicants will be well presented, self motivated with excellent guest services skills. Hospitality experience and at least basic Japanese language skills are preferred. As we have a lot of family guests staff should have an understanding of the needs/pressures of travelling families as well as possess more than a passing tolerance for younger children.
Benefits include free accommodation (inc. up to two weeks post-employment), food allowance and subsidised season lift pass. Season staff will usually be required from mid-December until early March. However there may be opportunities for shorter term employment depending on skill sets.
